Branding helped me see the vision come to life by tying together all the elements of the app into a cohesive identity. From the logo to the colour scheme and typography, each component worked together to represent the core message of the app, guiding students on their journey to university. It allowed me to communicate not just the functionality of the app but also the experience it offers, making everything feel intentional and connected. The branding created a strong brand that made the app feel polished, approachable, and professional.

6th form students struggle with the transition to university due to unclear guidance, scattered information, and a lack of insight into university teaching styles, making it difficult to navigate independent study, explore diverse course options, and make confident, informed decisions.

An app that combines all of the information in the same place, allowing users to save and compare university options, allocate courses that are related to their interests and subjects they study.
→ To help with the uncertainty of university, I want an area where users can interact with an AI chat-box or have an interactive lecture, which will give users a real feel for each course and will be less overwhelming when they start going to uni.

To start off the branding I decided to come up with some names that I thought would suit my app. I focused in having the name related to paths, journeys, future and vision. some of the names that I thought were contenders were:
We had a group discussion with our class and they voted on envision the best name out of these names which i agreed with.
Definition of Envision
Imagine as a future possibility - Oxford Languages
I think “Envision” fits because it’s about imagining what the future could look like. For sixth form students who are looking for courses, they’re not just thinking about what to do next — they’re trying to picture their future at university. My idea helps make that easier by giving them the information and support they need to feel confident in their choices.
Slogans are a very important part of making your brand memorable. A slogan helps users understand what the app is all about and what makes the brand different. Having a strong, catchy slogan that sticks in someone’s head is key to building a good brand identity.
