During this semester I enjoyed learning about logos. This is a very important aspect of branding as it allows the brand to be recognised by just looking at its logo. It is important to differentiate your logo from other brands and have a distinctive logo that stands out from one another. Logos can also communicate the meaning values, and personality, so it is very important that the logo is designed correctly. Logos should also be very memorable to create a lasting impression on the user’s mind. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my logo for Cashcow as I was able to have creative expression I was allowed to come up with exciting and innovative concepts exploring different styles, colours, and shapes to convey a message. I also liked how I problem-solved to create my logo, as I wanted to have a monogram and some sort of element connected to the monogram that linked to a cow. I think that feedback was very important and the iteration of the design was crucial when creating my logo. All of these factors made my logo stand out and catch the user's eye. I think this was very successful and creating the logo was my favourite part of the branding identity of Cashcow as I had creative expression.

Logos are one of the first contacts between the brand and the audience, so making a memorable and recognisable at a glance it’s very important when creating your brand logo. An effective logo will also communicate the personality and values of the brand. having a logo will the brand cohesive across all platforms. We must create logos that are eye-catching our attention spans are short and interesting and well-designed logos will allow retain the attention of the customers.

There are many different types of Logos which we learnt in week four, such as picture logos which are reduced to simplest forms, and have no text but will represent the brand values., abstract Logos, which create a feeling or value of your company name, but sometimes these can be misleading as these might not be interpreted accurately, an emblem logo consists of text and symbols also image these will make the brand feel more traditional, monogram logos which are made up of letters, usually initials of a business, mascot logos which are illustrated characters, which are used for fun and exciting tone of voice such as Mickey Mouse and KFC. This was my favourite aspect of branding as I was able to look more in-depth into the logos I see in everyday life and understand why these logos were so successful. Also how they were created and what type of logo they are. I’m excited to see where my creative abilities will take me after creating by first logo with Cashcow and how my skills will develop after going through this process.
