The Apple watch series 9 has a new chip which allows the user to interact with the watch without touching the physical screen, this is a new gesture recognition feature by just double tapping the index finger and thumb this can answer calls, notifications, play music and more.
another example of design now is the dynamic island that is now replacing the notch at the top of phones. it now has a floating island that stays at the top of the phone, it expands when taking a phone call, listening to music, live alerts and activities. The Dynamic Island is on iPhone 14 pro and upwards.
Apple Vision Pro is a new spatial computing device that will be available in early 2024, it will do the popular things the customers love but in ways they have never seen before. The Vision Pro will allow users to capture spatial 3d images and videos with the device. these will cost around £3000. this will allow the physical space to blend with the data being presented, users will be able to navigate by using their hands, eyes and voice.

drag - same a swipe but is a slower dragging motion
fling - move your finger across the screen at a high speed.

pinch - hold two fingers on the screen and drag them towards each other in a pinching motion.
